Our system of freedom was never designed to manufacture virtue through law. It depends on citizens capable of self-government, restraint, responsibility, and truth. When that foundation weakens, liberty erodes—no matter how well-intentioned our policies may be.
Paths of Discipleship is not a call for religious coercion or political dominance. It is a defense of the boundaries that protect both faith and freedom, and an argument that a republic can only be kept by citizens formed in character.
